    Lightbulb WTB - Generator

Anybody got a generator (4000 - 6000 kw) that they want to sell and can get to me by Monday? Looks like another hurricane is headed our way and living without air conditioning or refridgeration sucks.

Otherwise any of you Florida boys know where I can buy one new? I have tried Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, Sears, several small tool stores and no one has one.

Hey! I'm up here in Delaware. I work at an outdoor Power equipment store. I have a Snapper (genrac) 5500 watt generator here on the floor. If you want I'll get you a price and what shipping would be.

Every slappin time we get a Hurricane here in N.C. I tell myself, go buy a generator. Problem is, I never do...

If your gonna get a generator, get a 20Kw model that runs on something other than gas. It will run everything in your house and probly a few other houses also.

I've been wanting to go to the military surplus auctions at Ft. Bragg to see if I can grab a trailer mounted one.

Yeah the propane powered gensets are nice. Problem is, they are expensive if they are new, and to get them installed is even more. We can get those too, but I have never sold one.
