I had a quick chat with Mr Pinter, thanks to Harley 280, and he confiremd that Ford, due to budget and econemy woes WILL NOT BE PROVIDING a Harley 03 goodie bag - Both He and I were most surprised espically since the Anniversary is upon us - he asked me to check back in a couple of months but feels that since the decision has been made - there is very little chance that it will be reversed.

Well cant say i am too happy about that

However - to prove that i am not as selfish as i seem i did inquire about the 02 kits - Mr Pinter mentioned that there is an allowance for aprox 10,000 kits and about 8500 have been sent out so all u chaps with your new 02's are still in luck

Well I'm bummed! I was hoping for something really special for the 100th anniversary. Although, from what I've read on other sites i might not have gotten anything anyway as I bought mine on the D plan.

Well this stinks. I still have my keychain and plaque from my 2001, and was reaaly expecting that, with the 100 year anniversary, the 2003's would be outstanding. Oh well, I at least have something.

not necessarily 2002DSG, any HD's that were shipped to canana were excluded from the gift pack, and anybody that bought the truck on dplan, so there's still a good chance that you will get a giftpack, because i'm sure those account for the 2,500 other HD's besides the 10K that are supposed to get one;)

D-plan or not, I have owned two HD’s, and a 02 Lightning as well as three other Ford’s in the last five years.

I WILL be getting my goodie bag.

He's a really nice guy. my original keychain that i got with my 00 giftpack got a chip in the plating cuz i use it with my keys. he said no problem and mailed me out another one and i got it a few days later. so now i've got one to use and one to keep nice and pretty in my gift box :p

That's just not right! I mean I got my knife and plaque but I think everybody who bought the truck should get one. And to stay true to course, the 03 owners should have got something different and even nicer than us 02 owners. Let's get right Ford....you want dedication then be dedicated!
