OK> thanks for the add-up George. I didn't realize the pads backing plate, etc would be so much. Now I see the value inthe Meg deal. Why's it have to end so soon though! ;c

OK, you guys inspired me, washed the truck, it was just dusty but I had to start fresh, clay bar and Mothers Step 1 and 2 cleaners and polish, I go to wax and .....GASP! Im OUT! I have a bottle of Eagle 1 Nano Wax someone I work with got as a sample at SEMA last year, this stuff is great! I dont think mine has ever shined this much. The only swirls I had were on the bed cover and their history now. All by hand, no buffer.
Does anyone else have the problem with their bed cover, Snuglid here, that its a major PITA to get the wax off? The rest of the truck was easy but that lid;c Maybe its a different type of paint?

The paint shouldn't be any different on your lid. The only reason I can think of that the wax is harder to get off is that it was put on too thick.

Could have been both those I guess, I did let it sit in the garage a few hours after I washed it but that cover is pretty thick, I can see why it would hold heat, and since I was doing a large area I prolly put on too much, thanks for the tips .... for next time.
