    Bar & Shield Seat Badge

    Hi All

Have just shipped my 2001 F150 Harley from Miami to England, unfortunately a couple of things went missing between Miami and England. I need a bar and shield badge for my drivers seat????
Any ideas of cost and where to get one????

    Thanks Baz:BF:

Bad news, that badge cannot be bought separately from a $400++ seat cover. Best bet is to go to a HD bike shop and pick a PIN that most closely resembles our seat emblems.
Other guys here might have other suggestions. Good luck!

Didn't your insurance cover that? Just replace the seat cover.

    Stupid British Person

Stupid me, just looked and realised the black one is 2001, same as mine. I had a previous question on the vin plate. Thats a different problem, cant read it and need the information on weights, GAWR front and rear, GVWR and GCWR, in my handbook only the GCWR is in there. The truck is stuck in my drive until I can prove the numbers to the UK government. Another problem.;b

Isnt all that info on the id plates located inside on the door frame, think either on passenger or driver side door? You cant read the VIN Plate where? Located near the windshield?

    Vin plate info

The vin plate is on the door pillar BUT you cant read the details, we need proof of the weights. The vin number on the screen is ok but its the weights as I said.

Off home soon so might not reply, its 5pm here and its off home for food.

    Found this

    The vehicle has a 6275-lb. GVW, a 4500-lb tow rating, a 1200-lb payload and a 10,000-lb CGVW rating.

was here at this website, http://www.theautochannel.com/vehicl...0319/spec.html

probably need something a little more official though

Hey guys anyone here with an 01 that can help him out?

Maybe HARLEY6LF250SDU can help you out? What about you Delmustator?

I could probly snap a pic but I'd say the local DMV wants something official in writing from Ford.

Anyone have their original window sticker that can be scanned?

I have sent him everything that I have on 2001 HD. including his OASIS report that does show body type (crew F-150 4x2) And pages from Ford Ordering Guide w/weight specs. That is all I can dig up so far. Randy
