    street scenes hidden hitch

Has anyone had one of these and does it require a spare relocator or not?

You will need to relocate the spare. I have a SS roll pan with the hidden hitch and had to relocate the spare.

jimmy as in move it toward the front of the truck or relocate to the garage or bed of the truck? LOL

Does SS offer a kit? I know to do a Sir Michaels pan you end up with alost $250 in extra stuff to keep the spare & make the hitch work correctly/

Zippie can you clarify what part was needing "chopped"?? is it a flange? the back of the 2" x 2" receiver tube?

I have the Sir Michael's with the hidden hitch and it says you need the relocator, but I was able to real it up and just push the tire forward an inch or two with no problem.
But, now I keep it under the cover cause it hangs about 4inch's lower than the roll pan and looks like doodoo. Now, all you see from behind is my bright diff. cover and fat tires.

can't see the tire at all unless i'm acting out a "Dukes of Hazzard" scene.
    as for the chop saw
on the reciever, not the hitch, it would hit the tire not allowing it to recieve the pin
    no relocator was required
