    JL STEALTHBOX GB (Part 3): Post here!

    NOTE: hd898 is the LEAD on this GB and he is awaiting the OK from the GP Forum Moderator, Crockett59)


    Firstly, thanks for ROB W for giving birth to this effort and for hd898 for trying again. Thought I'd help out a bit (being the GB whore that I am) by starting this thread so more guys will see it. The old post is here:

    From hd898's post:
    1. need a minimum of 10 buyers to get the price of $350 + shipping
    2. orders are placed ONLY AFTER 10 buyers are confirmed (READ: with money ready to send).
    Turn around is approximately one (1) week from date orders are placed. Boxes are shipped to him and he in turn will ship them out with TRACKING#s. In short, PATIENCE will be appreciated.

    So far, the READY TO BUY list is:

    Please post if you are READY TO BUY so the list above can be updated. I know guys will have questions like:
    1. How much is shipping to my zip???
    2. Can I use PayPal???

    I PM hd898 the same questions. hd898 told me as long as I pay the paypal fees...is that still the same case?? I beleive paypal fees are around 3%.

    Paypal will be easier and faster for me than snail mail...and I dont mind paying the fees.

    Thanks for the input. With 3% PayPal fees added ($10.50), total BEFORE shipping is $360.50. I'll send hd898 a PM to inform him of this new thread (in case he does not know yet)

    I would like to thank kromdom for his help in this matter and yes I will take paypal but you will have to add the paypal fees if any apply. To answer some of your questions I will need your shipping address to get your shipping price. I have never tried putting a different woofer in the box because the 12 w3 thats in it works great. If you pm me with your address I will send you a price for shipping but you have to remember that it may take a day or two for me to answer you on this because I work a lot so I can pay for the mods to my dsg.

    Please post shipping weight of the stealthbox (to include packing/box) and your zip code. Then buyers can get an estimate on their own by using any shipper's calculator.

    hd898...what type of paypal account do you have? Personal or business account?

    If you have a personal account, you do not pay fees to send or receive money, but you CAN NOT use a credit card to send money. You need to use you checking or savings account. And I beleive you have a waiting period when you send money via checking or savings.

    If you have a business account, you pay fees (3% of the total amount) to recieve money..not to send. And you can use CC, checking or saving. And the trasfer in instant...no waiting.

    It all depends on what kind of account you have hd898 if fees apply.

    By the way, if any of you are interest to know. I email JL to find out what the space volume of the stealthbox. So if you ever want to replace the 12" w3v2 with another sub...this is what they said:

    The gross internal volume of the rear 02-03 Harley Davidson Stealthbox is 1.2 cu ft.

    $400-$500. I got mine "on sale" for $459 here in SoCal (it was listed for $559)
