I have seen that the slider windows were less secure what do you mean? Should I drill a hole in the latch and run a lock through it? How much for a solid glass?

Sliders have always been a weak area in trucks. If you want to get into a truck, try opening the slider first, it's the easiest. I've broken into a couple of Ford trucks before in the past. Usually because the keys got locked inside by mistake. The ones with plastic clips are the easiest. You can pop the clip with a knife blade.

    Anyway, too much info...

I think a simple cable lock (similar to a luggage lock) would be enough to secure the slider.

Unless you have a electric rear slider, you run the risk of a easy break in. I would cut a small metal dowel rod and drop it in the track before I drilled a hole.
Most thieves are breaking into the Ford truck's by popping out our door handle's anyway, CHEAP plastic......

    Good idea Dbl G.

Maybe just a aluminum filler rod from any local welding shop. Easy to cut and cheap.

Hey im not following the rod placement thing how exactly does that work. I have internal and external motion sensors which I think is a pretty good deterrent. How many people with alarms as deterrents have still had there vehicles broken in to? And how many members that use gorilla locks on the wheels have been victims to the thieves?

Lay a solid rod in the track to prevent the window from sliding. A few people with and without have been ripped off.......

Those resale numbers are very nice to see. Heck, I only paid 30k out the door brand new with every option... seeing resale numbers higher than cost after 2+ years is GREAT!!
