I take it that 02moneypit did not like the "squared/angular/boxy" body styles of the 80-96 F-150's which is what FORD is bringing back. So he'd rather buy a japanese ride....does this make him a "CLOSET" ricer???

No I would not buy a Jap truck. It was fun as a kid but now I need the room. What's the answer? My voice is too small. I can only vote with my wallet.

The Porsche Cayenne or the VW Tourag are about the only vehicles I would consider but can you haul plywood in those?

I did see a Nissan factory supercharged 4X4 though. Hmmmm.

To be honest, I didn't like the 80-96 model f150, and I never even liked ford trucks until the 97 model came out. I liked the Expedition first, then I saw the similar bodystyle on the f150 and liked it too. It is ironic, because before I bought my Harley truck, Chevy was my favorite looking truck and now Chevy is my least favorite looking between Chevy, Dodge, and Ford.

Guess you can put me in that category too... as much as I try to like the new body style F-150, I just can't (even though this proposed '06 Harley is the best yet). If I were buying right now the Nissan Tundra would be at the top of my list. The Chevy and Dodge offerings just don't do it for me.
Sold--'02 HD, DSG, mods: more than yours...

'93 Silver/Black LX Coupe, mods: even more...

'05 GMC Sierra Denali Crew Cab, Silver/Grey, AWD, 6 liter, moonroof, DVD, Rhinoliner, full tint... quiet, comfortable, and gets 17 mpg--running regular gas. It's no Harley, but I like it!

My buddy just bought a F150 XLT and he is already *****in about some things that he does not like with the truck. It's a nice ext-cab 2-tone. It's just cheap looking inside and out.

Everything is squared off too. Damn, did they get Bob Vila to design the interior with a square or what? The center console is big enough to drop a live well in from your Bass boat and never touch the sides.

I don't understand why Ford does not survey there current owners to see what we like or dislike. A quick post on any web forum from Ford to ask a few questions is all it takes.

So, What your saying is it will double as a Bass boat. Well there we have it I am with Del.
I already have a John boat at the property and I to think she is a little square.

I dont care for the new body myself but Ive seen quite a few around here fixed up, the right wheels make a huge difference.
I like the blackout look but its a Harley truck, its got to get some chrome on it.
Id have to have a Supercrew, the ext cab wont cut it.
Whats with the nosebleed ride height, is this a 4x4?
If its not S/C'd it better list in the mid 30s range max, the new Lincoln Mark LT starts at 39k Ive heard.
Im holding on to my 03 I think.
