    Is there a tuner for a '05 6.0L Powerstroke?

Excuse the dumb question, but I did a search and I am assuming the '04 powerstroke differs from the '05. Is there a tuner or chip available for the '05?

Superchips, Bullydog, & Edge don't have one yet for the 2005 6.0L. But Diablosport shows a Predator for the 05. I used a Predator on my 04 for about 4 months. The only thing I didn't like was that you had to go through 4-5 cold starts, for the transmission to adapt. The Superchips fully programed both eng & trans. Just my .02

For all the 6.0L Diesel owners, Superchips has finally released the 2005 programmer #1704-A. Should be ready for shipping Wed/Thur March 2nd/3rd.
Give Danny at 2D's a call, and tell him your from the NHTOC (should be $309.00 shipped) its a Great Deal. 888 544-4626

Another option is a SCT from Innovative Diesel. Eric specializes in Fords. I've been doing a lot of research in the last week over on thedieselstop.com and everyone over there that has one of his programmers is very happy. I haven't read one complaint yet. I think that's who I'm going to go with. For what its worth, he's done work on Superduty trucks that are running mid-13's at 115mph in the 1/4. A little more extreme than what I'm looking for, but apparently the knowledge is there. Price for a diesel programmer with 3 settings (economy, tow/haul, max hp) is under $400.

    Superchips vs diablo

I am with HARLEY6LF250SDU. The Diablo did not do well. Made my truck smoke bad when you got on it. Replaced it with the Superchips and it was like night and day difference. No smoke and it would really set you back in the seat.

    Banks!

I've got the Banks on the '05 Harley F350, and love it like crazy! Exhaust, 6-gun, Speedloader, and oooooh my, does she scream! Also did the K & N Cold air intake. Went from 13MPG to 18MPG empty, and from 9MPG to 13MPG pulling a 30' enclosed trailer. (I drive 80-85)

The power is amazing, and with today's fuel prices, I think it's paid for itself in the 20K miles It's been on the rig. Highly recommend Banks. Also, had the chance to visit the HQ, which as cool to see! Also nice to be able to call 800-GET-POWER for technical assistance. I had many questions, and still do. Just ask for "Technical Support."
