Rim Width / Max Tire Size

Can anyone tell me the max tire size I can use for 04 HD stock rims?

Since I'm not interested in lifting the truck [fifth wheel is on the way], I'm curious to know how big of a tire I can go without effecting steering, towing or maneuvering.

I really like the look of the Mickey Thompson Baja Claw Radial, but the only sizes I can find seem to me to be too big. They are:
    LT325/60R18 - 10ply (33x13.50R18LT) or
    LT325/65R18 - 10ply (35x13.50R18LT)

Does anyone know of a tire that has the same type tread and look?

    Thanks,
    AJ OBrien, #1900

Sorry I just reread your post, you don't want to lift your truck.

The standard 18" Harley wheel is 8" wide, that is why I had to find a 12.5" or narrower tire. Not much of a choice.

I am doing a 6" lift on my 05 but was told I can only put up to 35' tires on. Do your's rub at all because they look great.

You will need to put 1/2" spacers on the front bumper bolts, to move the bumper forward on a 04. The lower bumper cover takes up alot of room in the wheel well. As far as tire rub, with the BFG MT's 37x12.50x18"s they only touch the front leaf spring under FULL tight turns.

Here is Lukes 05 with a Rancho 4" lift and stock 20" Harley Rims. Toyo Open Country MT 35x12.50R20" ---If you are using Factory rims, you might have a tuff time with 37x13.50R20 being to wide for the rim. You will have all the clearance room you need with a 6-7" lift.

Give me a call if you have any other ??
