Who makes these rotors?
Seems a little fishy to me. Why are their pictures on Yahoo Photos?

I just saw his post in the other thread. I just hate eBay ads saying things like, "other vendors won't show you pictures" blah blah blah.
I'm a bit of an Internet snob (too many years of working in front of a computer). If you can't develop a web page that's intuitive and simple to navigate, then I'm not interested. When I checked out their web page and saw a link for "their" photos on Yahoo Photos, my gut feeling is that something is amiss.
I hope I'm wrong, because $240 is a great price.
So these guys are the manufacturers, correct? Are these the same rotors that were discussed on the main forum a few months ago?
waiting on a reply for the TECH/SPEC sheet. Here is some more info ablout the rotors (from e-mail);
The rotors are manufactured by Centric Brake. They make rotors, drum, and brakepads. They distribute out of Los Angeles, Ca.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I have also contacted Stan Ruslow about doing another GB for his rotors. He gets DIBS as an SV: if he declines, then a GB with a non-SV might get the OK
well im in critical condition for rotors right know so im in but i need to see the tech. sheets because i was about to buy pro-slot rotors with hawk pads.

Used SEARCH and found this old post by ROB W:
Ok... first the '00-'01 trucks have a different front braking set up then the '02-'03;'s whic share some parts with the Ligthning brotheren. So be sure when looking to get the right year...
Next at the bottom of this forum.. there is a white box marked "search this forum" if you go to that box type in "big brakes" you will get approx 14 related threads I think this link will work.
If you go over & register at the www.nloc.net there are probably a BILLION+ conversations about brake upgrades over there.
A quick overview from what Stan @ Ruslow (a SV) told me on the phone just 2 days ago...
On our trucks big massive rotor diameters are not what you need in 90% of the cases, its what we all WANT the look... YEs larger diam rotors will stop somewhat better to a point.. but pad choice & rotor construction are far more important.
A good set of dimpled (NOT drilled) rotors & a great set of pads matched to your driving style will get you amazing improvements.
ps: I decided for now to do Stan @ Ruslow's dimpled rotors & Preformance Friction Z_rated pads... big monsters maybe later when its not a daily driver.
ROB W,
I updated some of the links above (TCE & SSB)
