I am a newbie here but there are two guys the travel the US who tune and /or dyno tune our highly modded stuff. There are 6 full stand alone programmable systems that they tune. Each "tuning party" needs a minimum participation or fee and plane ticket and room & board.
Hotel is extra if needed. Usually adds up to $300.00 per person.
Thats just fo the tunner and his equipment. Now he has a laptop and interfaces for each of these systems whether its a Haltech, Motec ,Apexi etc it doesnt matter. He also brings some widebands and egt setup.
This makes them good money worthwile in between races.
However the mods I 've see so for the HD (even built 1000 HP) easier and not as for fetched as hundreds varaitions of blowers (as compared to all the turbo sizes ,designs and porting , different Injection systems. )
I tuner like Torrie is well worth your time and money and get a dyno party together!

YES Torrie please make the I-10 road trip...I'm sure there are a handful of houston members that could use your expertise and a number of others from surrounding areas.

Torrie used to be at Unleashed Tuning.
    Maybe try him there?
