LOL Craig - I drive much more than you do!
Sure you put more milage on your truck that I do but I enjoy the drivers seat on a long trip, right Jason
Its 10pm I wounder if he made it home?
Choked off at the exhaust? Whats going on under there?
He is still running the stock manifolds and cat pipe... he has pretty much reached the limit of what they can flowOriginally posted by Fuzion

If he did long tubes, I am sure he would hit his mark.
Well just talked to Phil and he should be home around 2pm today!
I'm home!
Made it home at 1:15pm today amidst the rain. Ended up staying in Barstow, CA last night as we were wiped out from the progressive drives. Left at 6:30am, stopped for breakfast, then again at Harris Ranch for steaks for dinner (yum), and that's it.
The truck felt like it lost some power the minute I started filling up with California gas. Didn't go WOT in the rain, but, the throttle response was definitely missing something. 91 octane here is definitely not the same as 91 octane found in New Mexico and Arizona. It took 2 cans of that new STP Jet Fuel Octane Booster to make the motor happy again.
For those who were interested in oil consumption, it went down...
I just logged 1769.68 miles since I added oil and lost about 1/4 - 1/3 of a quart. Much better than the 1 quart for 1000 miles first experienced.
Thanks for all the support everyone!
Hope my saga was fun to read.
I have A LOT of cleaning to do this weekend!
You know you are going to hear it in a couple day's,,,we want more pic's..
Posted a few more from the trip but, didn't take many. We didn't make many stops except to gas up. I didn't want to remember the gas stations.Originally posted by Dbl G
