tranny slip ouch
Did a u-turn and got on it pretty good, then lost all power to the tranny, heard a fast clicking noise. Let of gas completely and waited a second and then eased back on throttle and it hooked back up. Bad feeling in my stomach. Time to take it to the dealer? What do you guys think?
No mods as of today. so warranty wont be an issue.

This is not going to help you but i thought my tranny was slipping but turns out i was spinning the tires @ 65 mph when i dropped it in 2nd gear lol
did ya pull it down into 2nd manually?
wasnt tire spin, it found the gear on its own.
It's possible you starved it for fluid for a second, not good for it per se, but for just a second it's not something I'd worry about.

would a ftvb and bigger pan possibly help to prevent this in the future since it would have more capacity? Do you think it is damaged. Drives perfectly normal now under all types of driving :0)
I suggest both the FTVB and 4x4 pan. Great mod and super performance.

Rev. Limiter??
I dont think so GSX, he said he did not spin the tires, just that he got on it and it went out. Rev limiter on or trucks is like 5400 I think unless you removed it with a Predator or some type of tuner.
Ernie Haire Ford in Tampa looked at the truck and said the tranny was fine. It was a little on the low side for tranny fluid and thats why it slipped so they say. Everything else looks good.
