Yes, the 49-incher is the perfect fit for our trucks. You also need an adapter (trailer plug has 7 pins I think). I would much rather have a 03-04 Escalade 3rd light put into the upper area of the tailgate or in a lid wing. That 3rd light is bright as shyt when it's on and nice and wide. It has a nice curve to it also. I've been hitting the junk yards ever so often waiting for a wreaked Escalade to come in.

I am with Del, not really my cup of tea. I checked out the Escalade third light and that is pretty sweet. Just need a way to mount it on the tailgate cap, Make anice accent peice, like a Lund Tailgate cap wing except with brake light in it.
the only thing that sticks about the line of fire is that it comes on with your parking lights - id have one if it just worked with the brakes and blinkers.
I am sure that with a little rewiring you could get it to act the way that you wanted to. If I am not mistaken it connects up to your trailer plug. Probably can find the one wire that activates the parking lamps and disconnect it on the Line of fIRE side.
I only had a $100 or so left from my year-end bonus so I figured what the heck.....you had one, so it had to be okay!
And ....that my not be a bad idea after all....my wife's pretty cool about all this truck stuff, but she hasn't even seen the half of it yet. On my next trip to my brother's house in Miami to pick up the latest acquirements, I'll need to be kinda careful opening up the suitcases after I get home! If reckon if she see's this next batch of cc bills she might just take the rest of money and run!
