It is a Fabtech leveling kit. The best part of this kit is that it keeps the stock ride of the vehicle which im sure I dont have to tell you is awsome for such a huge truck. I have owned a 99' F 350 SRW Crew Cab, 01' F 250 Crew Cab and an 04' F 250 Crew Cab Harley Davidson Edition ( i have issues with keeping vehicles...lol) and none of these trucks even compared to the ride quality of the 05's. The tire did rub the plastic part of the fender well on the back of the drivers side all the way at the bottom. But with a quick adjustment it no longer touched. There was no cutting done. I will be posting new pics shortly of the double shock set up I have recently added so be sure to check back for those.
Thanks for the comments guys. I like the support that everyone shows each other on this site which was one of the main reasons I joined. ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY!!!
I said I would post the new pics of the dual shock hoops when I could... So here they are! According to my lift guy fabtech only makes these for the 6" lift right now so he had to fabricate some brackets to make it work, but it all looks stock when you look underneath.
I figured while I was posting pics that I would show everyone the 2 trucks I traded to get the new 05. And yes I did remove all of my after market parts before the trade!
The F 250 had a 6" lift with 35x12.50's on the stock 18's.
The F 150 was offcourse a 03' 100th ann. with a 2/3 drop, 22" replica wheels, lower bumper insert, gaylord bed cover, Bassani cat back, 5 lb pully, superchip, accufab throttle body, JLP Ram Air Kit, Denso Plugs and LFP Aluminum Intercooler, performance front and rear sway bars and JLP Traction Bars (badly needed). There were several more upgrades but im sure you are tired of reading by now. Hope you like! And I promise no more pages of pics for a while!
