    Thumbs up Exhaust, WOOO!!!

I got my high flow cats with midpipes put on today, and man it sounds good!! I'd post up a vid clip, but the weather is extremely crappy here, and looks to be extremely crappy here for the next 3 or 4 days. When it clears I'll post up a clip. But I'm definitely in love with it. With this rain though, I haven't been able to really get on it to hear how it sounds at higher rpms, since those goodyears just spin when I hit the gas too much. Oh well, hopefully soon.

Mack, sorry, I don't have any part numbers or anything. I know you had asked me before about my exhaust when I had only a catback. I'm guessing my email didn't get through? The catback is a magnaflow kit, the only information I have is that it's specific to these trucks. I bought it used from a co-worker. It's a magnaflow di/do muffler setup. I had the pipes from the cats to the muffler cut short, muffler moved forward, and the shop bent custom pipes from the exit to the side of the truck, just like the Lightning. The tips are Ractive Black Chromed. They didn't hold up too well, appearance-wise, and the shop that installed them is warrantying (sp?)them for me. The pipes I had put on today were Magnaflow midpipes with high flow cats already mounted in. I bought them from someone on here.

01harley, yeah, Majic hooked me up, only charged me 60 bucks for the install. Plus like I already said, they're getting me new tips too.

Yeah it does, definitely opened it up more. Now it's definitely louder in the cab lol, and the truck vibrates more. Some sound deadening material may be in my future... at some point.

Depends on your viewpoint Fuz... It's definitely one of those "look at me" mods, as someone on this board said about their exhaust. I like it, am very happy with it. The volume may not to be to some people's taste though. If you love loud, go for it lol. I went with 2 cats. I'll tell you what though, I love the way it sounds at WOT!! Video clip to come soon...

From my personal experience with exhaust, I'd say it's about an 8 or 9 in my book. I've not heard a bassani with high flows, or a flowmaster with highflows (I imagine that it would be horribly loud.) But it sounds very clean, and very throaty.

vid clip... it's a lil hard to hear the idle because of background traffic (live right on a highway,) but gives you a good idea what it sounds like. Lemme know if I should take another.
