    Angry {{{{boom}}}}

    WELL Put me on the list of spark plug launchers. The b---h just had to lay down on me. Just had a new set of Hankook's put on her and went to Best Buy to pick up my new T.V.(house) and on my way back down I-85 at about 70 mph with the cruise set and {{{{BOOM}}} I knew what it was before I even pulled off the road. Man that SOB sounded like it was going through my hood. coil pack and boot was laying over on the valve cover and arcing off the fuel rail. Funny thing is no check engine light. But anyway sorry guys just had to vent.

    Now i'm wondering if we should all add torguing the plugs at a regular basis. Think it will help?

    I have been checking mine on a regular basis and all is right as rain. No problems so far at 25k may be attributed to the fact that I am still stock on the boost. See what starts happening as soon as I get the 4 or 6lb lower installed. (KNOCK ON WOOD)

    sorry to hear about that Kevin! just out of curiosity, had you put plugs in since you got the truck, if so did you torque them? i have not put plugs on mine yet and i'm right at 30k miles... it's been in the back of my mind that i need to check them one of these weekends before it happens to me too!

    This may be a bad idea, but has anyone tried a little threadlock instead of the copper anti-sieze?

    Maybe just a few drops would do the trick. Or Ford could start using quality parts. But what do I know...

    i was just thinking the same thing tonight... maybe just a couple drops? they should still break free without messing the threads up right?

    Jeff, I had yet to change the plugs in my truck, but the truck was going in for service today and had already told my dealership to put in my new plugs(NGK Iridium). NOW ISN'T THAT IRONIC. Guess they will change them when they fix the b--ch. But on a positive note the warranty company gave the go ahead to fix it so I am happy. Ford tech said he was gonna try to recommend 03 heads. (CROSSING MY FINGERS)

    THANKS FOR ALL REPLYS
