I think this means the group buy ended after the July 10 weekend, but you can probably still email EM to get a grounding kit at regular price.Originally posted by em headhoncho
hey guys - The group buys will be ending this saturday after the north carolina chapter meet in matthews, Nc. If you have been waiting you might want to let us know something. Our products will never again be sold at these prices....Thanks again,

You may want to e-mail or call them to see if they are still making them..
I just installed part of the Positive kit and the full Ground kit today. came out nice. check out where I located the big red fuse. I butchered a replacement coil cover so I know where to cut the next one.

what is the standoff used for??
what is the standoff used for??
A little impatient aren't we.
It is for the two wires that connect in the front left on the stock idler bracket. There is a bowl area there, I forget the wire #'s....
Yeah I posted my question earlier and left and when I came home it was still on the "post reply" page, and I thought I never sent it and hit it again. I must of hit back on my browser. Anyways thanks for the repley.
If that doesn't help let me know I will dig up the paper work for you and tell you the numbers, which will tell you where it goes. But it should be easy to see, it is right where one would reach in for the idler tensioner.....Almost a funnel shaped area..

yup, it is for the 4/5 wire connection, the bolt that those two wires connects to has a recess around it on the idler bracket. The standoff will allow you to hook the 4/5 wires on the bolt without having to bend the connectors or use a dremel to remove material from that area. It also can be used for the same purpose if you are running a newer style metco idler bracket on the #5 mounting location. If you go back a couple of pages I think that I have a pic or two.
