    Another Boost Gauge Question

A couple of questions on a boost gauge install. I used the search feature first and read through about 20 posts. If I missed it, sorry, just please point me in the right direction.

    1. I have an '02, I know where to hook into the boost line (thanks search button) into the truck. My problem is the gauge I have, Nordskog digital, only has four wires coming out the back and thats it. No place to connect any tube. How do I convert the tube to Wires? Do I need some type of sending unit?

    2. Who makes a full pillar for two gauges that does not require you to cut or drill the factory pillar?

    Thanks

    1. If you got the boost gauge from this site...M9017

    http://www.rjays.com/Gauges/nord-digital-street-01.htm

then you need to buy a sender....S8424

    http://www.rjays.com/Gauges/nord-dig...t-01.htm#S8424

    2. You can just remove the stock pillar and install the new pillar with some velcro or drill holes and use the plastic push clips provided with most pillars.

    Hope that helps

Hey #475 welcome to the group!

Chris is dead on... get the sender, mount it in the engine compartment... run your wires to the sender out there... keep the vacuum tube as short as possible.

Autometer, Lotek, lot of companies make the pillars, they replace your pillar & handle completely.

IF YOU HAVE AN O3', BE CAUTIOUS OF WHICH PILLAR POD YOU BUY. The designed changed halfway through 02' i blieve and pre-02.5' year models use a different aftermarket pillar pod. You can find out more info using the search button, just make sure you ge the right one.
