Question Help - Removing Windshield Washer Squirters

I know there is an easy way to do this. Without getting into trouble or damaging anything, how does one remove the windshield washer squirter thingies from the hood. It feels like there is a metal clip of some type on the underside. My eyesight must be getting bad, I cannot figure it out from looking at it and ai know someone has already done this. I have an aftermarket cowl type hood. Sorry for using all the correct terms like thingie. I want to install some lighted squirters and the ones that I have now are not adjustable and they do not hit the windshield too good.

I was wrong. The things have expansion tips on each side built into the design. Remove the tube and use a pair of needle nose pliers to compress the tips together. It looks like you can pop it out pretty easy. Just squeeze and push. It should pop out the top of the hood.

Note: It's made from plastic so don't get to manly with it, with those pliers.
