how bad can you beat a hemi

STOCK, how far ahead are you on a stock hemi? Both trucks are 03's, buddys hemi is standard cab.

He talks a lot..........., I already beat him once in my previous dmax/alli CC 4wd but I had an edge module with an extra 125 hp and 350 ft/lbs.

I want to smoke him. His little brother just got an 03 vette stick and I know he cant drive it well. can I jump him good once I get my 6lb put on with a Torrie tune?

Good is supposed to be emphasized.

    Tanks a lot
2003 HD 6LB Pred. Intake, FTVB, thank you MRBO

why waste your gas on a stock hemi? If you do race him, make him pay for your gas. I work with a guy that has a regular cab hemi with "mods" (i.e., he put gibson exhaust on it.......). He wants to race, but won't agree to pay for a tank of gas when I smake him...

So...bottomline, you'll eat a stock hemi for breakfast.

With the Hemi, you won't even get to third gear before it seems like a waste of time and gas. The Vette will own you though, power to weight ratio will kill you.

    yeah they are a joke,

Ate numerous alive when I was stock and still eating them with only a CAI and the predator performance tune. When I get my 6# on and Efan I will not even acknowledge them.

i have driven my friends quad cab hemi and the closest comparison i can give you is what my truck feels like today... WITH THE SUPERCHARGER BELT OFF... no joke, i am driving without the belt right now and it feels just like his truck did. you will absolutely OBLITERATE a hemi stock for stock, and even some with some mods. once you do the pulley and TT (torrie tune, lol) there will be no stopping you. i think stock hemis run about a 10.5 in the 1/8 and my truck ran a 9.6 with spinning.

I saw a vid somewhere that showed a regular 04 F150 beating a hemi, against our trucks, they dont stand a chance!

I have a challenge on the table to a friend of mine with a shiny new SRT-10..

    He WILL NOT run me!

He wants to ADD some more MODS and learn how to drive it first. It has the Viper engine with 6-speed manual tranny. He's already added Gibson headers and a couple other goodies.

I've busted a number or normal Hemi trucks. It's really not worth the waste of gas unless you just want to get a kill under your belt.

I think the SRT-10 and HD are very close competitors (in the right hands).

We will see if I can hold my own with the 12 cylinder rod knocker.

I actually just ran a Hemi on Friday. Kid from school just got it and also had added exhaust or at least he dumped it.

Now, i have exhaust, intake, and a single blade throttle body. But, two races from the 30-40mph range and i got him both times. At least 5 trucks before i stopped going?
