bassani or spintech????

Im sticking with the rear exit. I am an odd ball I guess liking the stock exit.

Went with bassani today. Just ordered a whole bunch of $hit. Mod bug wont let go. Went SS catback and hi flow midpipes.

Any opinions as to its sound??

I love my Bassani sound. Even though I have the L style exit, I don't find it excessively loud in the cab. Even when I get on it, the Kenne Bell is louder than anything else, so I barely notice the exhaust note. Also, my opinion is that I have less drone than I did with the stock exhaust.

Now when my wife drives the truck on her rare occassion, and I hear her pull away, the sound of the exhaust from outside the truck is just plain awesome!

do you have just the catback?? or do you have the hi flow cat midpipes also?

I have longtube Dynatek headers SS with Dynatek cats SS back to magnaflow race series mufflers SS exiting at the lightning exit on my 2000 H.D and it is awesome. LOve the sound.

Just the catback with pre-wheel exit.

For my cat back the noise increase maybe went from 1 at stock to 2-3 with the Bassani, but the tone and sound of the exhaust went up to maybe 6-7. And as I mentioned before, I feel like my truck actually lost some of the interior drone I was getting from the stock exhaust. Your results mary vary with the midpipes and all, but I think you will like the results. The one thing I should have done with mine was keep the stock chrome tips and replace the Bassani tips stainless tips which have a more yellowed look rather than the blue look of the chrome.

unless you are using your stock exit pipes bassani will exit in front of tire next to your nerf bars.
