    Krom,
Yeah I had to vent because of the stupidity I face over here in Iraq......again.....for another year. I have great respect for those great Senior NCO's I have met . But as we all know, there is always that one that totally want's you . Paying your dues is one thing, but being a total to everyone else just because you are a whatever is another. Being a great leader is one thing, being a that makes other soldiers want to is another. I think the worst thing is nowadays is that all the bad now outnumber the good, and that .

BTW, anybody who owns a HD is not an idiot and a wise person and a wise NCO. You have to be freakin awesome. Stupidy does not run in our veins....

Hate to admit this but I did work for a few when I was a young buck way back. So I know exactly what you are talking about. In fact, the experience actually helped me: I swore that when I become a SNCO someday, I will do all I can to be BETTER/BE DIFFERENT from the bad apples I met.

Hang in there, man! BTW, are you a medic? Asking because I am one also.

    Krom,
I live up to that very same same thing you swore to.

Also I'm not a medic, I'm a Flight Ops guy, stuck in a Medevac unit. But we do have the greatest Flight Medics in the Army. I dare anybody to disagree to that.

Hurry up and be a SNCO already!!!! I have heard nothing but praises, compliments and gratitude to the ARMY medevac system from my fellow medics in IRAQ. They have absolute faith in the ARMY when they have to call for a bird..heck, you might have even flown on one of those missions

I missed being "looked at" for E-7 last year by 4 months time in grade. Trying to get all my records updated out here so I can get looked at this year. I haven't flown on any missions out here, but if any of your buddies have called for a Medevac in the LSA Anaconda area, I'm the one that recieves the call and send's the crews to go do the medevac mission. As far as my unit goes, we also have teams out in five different locations throughout Iraq.
