    Just ordered New Goodies

Well I did it. I just ordered the final piece of the audio puzzle.

I ordered my Memphis St3004 amp for my highs, 1/0 gauge flat wire, Distribution block, Circuit breaker, and new 5X7 door speakers.

I got a really good deal on the stuff too. Everything was on manufacturer closeout, They changed the names of all the new stuff.(Big woop)

I was going to go with a more aggressive setup with the "Sub" but decided (after talking with the Memphis district manager) That 2 1500 watt amps, (1 going to each voice coil) would be TOO much of a headache. I would need a new alternator, Dual batteries, and a "cap". So he says...... Instead I ordered the new wire and I'm going to add another Optima red top to the one I already have.

I figure with the new box, wire, amp for highs, and second battery, That should cover everything that I want to accomplish.:p

    Man I'm excited!!!!!!

Well.....im planning on getting a custom fiberglass box made, kinda like what jp has.

But for now I have a 10" mtx in a truck box laying on the floor behind the passanger seat. I got it for a rediculous price.....and needed bass. (90 bucks for sub and box) I had the amps wired up already because I tried the "shadow" box but those rf 6.5" subs blew really fast......I think ron (outnumbered) had the same problem with them.

Other than that, I have pioneer 6x8 three ways in all 4 doors. A pioneer deh-p7400 deck and some older fosgate amps. Its all getting ripped out and re-done anyway. Too cheesy for the looks of the truck. lol (its all in my head I know)

    ;)

I have a Kenwood DPX 5010 HU, 5X7 Memphis in the doors, 1100 watt class D amp for the sub, Memphis LVS 12" SUB. The box I'm building will be custom. And then all the other stuff I just ordered. I should be done in time for Cecil.

Just to let yall know, I called Audio Eng last week and they have a box coming for our trucks. They said to call back within 6 weeks.
