    Lightbulb Shocking Idea

The new ('04-'05) Navi and Expy have IRS. The IRS has adjustable air-ride shocks made for Ford by Bilstein. Anyone know if they might fit an F-150?

computer controled & they use a unique air-line connection system that is very hard to retrofit, without doing everything as a system.

I know stan @ Ruslow has a heavily modified IRS in mis Lightning.

I have been thinking about the IRS, after I stop using the truck for work & I won't be hauling much any more.

I think I'm gonna have to do some real research about this.

[edit: Can someone move this to the suspension forum?]

Checked into this. Determined that the only way to do this correctly is to cut the entire back-end of the chassis off the Navi/Expy (as well as the F-150) and weld it up to the truck chassis. Doing so will require extensive custom fabrication of chassis-rail "splices" in order to marry the two together. Looks like this is one that won't be pursued unless someone butt-rams the truck!
