#2 would probably do the best job but any idea about unmetered air entering the sysytem.

Not a tech guy here but from reading the write up about #2, unmetered air is not an issue. Don't have a first hand experience with Vince's unit but #2 addresses at least 3 areas where oil can possibly enter. So three points to plug.

    1. rubber intake boot
    2. rear of plenum
    3. line to rear of intake galley

breather on each cam cover and one to the oil filler, which was recommended by a tuner.

I may give #2 a shot and see how it works (just had my smog check a few days ago, won't be due until 2 more years).

the unmetered air will lean out your A/F a bit though. i know A/F gauges arent the most scientific thing to work off of though, but when i had my breather on (just for looks on my N/A...blingy JLP breather ) the A/F guage wouldnt come out of the red at WOT. pulled the breather off and went back to stock, and richened up into the yellow by a decent amount.

I will be cleaning the i/c, tb, etc soon of my L and will do option #2 above. Will not know how well it works till next cleaning. The guys who have done this (FTW, NLOC and F150online) seem pretty convinced it works BEST.

I am tiring to get in touch with James to see what he think's. I think, No Smog Air = Clean Air = Lean Air = Most likely tune tweak...

Vince's unit is best. I do not have it but know it works. I willalso state that unmetered air is not a good idea....Period. If you go this route be sure you geta tune with your exact setup! If you do not believe this your making a mistake. These computers need to know this information to ensure proper A/F ratio.
