If you're refering to stock shocks then I am RONFLMAO cause the stock shocks are just plain old Crap. Regular F-150 shocks, the damn lightning at least gets better shocks than we did from the factory.

Trust me my truck has 25k on the OD, when I replaced my stockers with Lightning Spec Bilsteins I found out that 3 out of 4 were completely blown and the 4th was almost there. Now you explain to me how a truck that never goes off road has 3 out 4 blown shocks with 25k on them? Trust me when I say that after I put them on it was the difference between night and day.

I am waiting (im)patiently for them to arrive. My stockers are turning to mush at 28K.

I am thinking of adding a 2 inch drop in the rear when I replace the shocks. What brand is everyone using? Stew, you just dropped the rear, what did you use? The only one I found that wasn't a stepped 2,4 was Beltech at LFP. Is this correct?

Wolf I got Bilstein L SPecs on mine and put 2inch shock extenders for good measure. May not really need them but it puts them back in the zone they were intended to operate at. Shock extenders were purchased from Socal Speedshop.

2/3 drop shackles can be purchased from almost any of the SVs.

It appears that I'm going to be needing a set of these too. See my cupping tires post.

I'm a little confused as to who these are backordered through though as my dealer showed access to several dozen sets at various Depots across the states, but they want rediculous price for them. List is $117 each and they only go down to about $90 each with discount!

You are right about that. I checked my dealer and got the same prices. If anyone is considering new shocks soon, this is the best price I have seen out there. Bill is THE MAN!!

BTW, I think he is geting them through ford racing, but I am not 100% sure of that. I think he referenced it earlier in the thread.

Ford is kinda strange about parts, the OEM parts division and Ford Motorsport are completely different.
Im guessing they looked up OEM part numbers.

It should: stew has them and he has a 2-in rear drop (shackles). DITTO for me also but I opted to use shock extenders also to restore the original shock travel length
