Compressed supercharger air is hot. More boost more heat. Outside air temps. rises so will charge temp. be affected.
Charge air temp. is cooled when your air passes through your intercooler mounted below your Eaton. With increased cooling and fluid capacity ( bigger more effecient heat exchanger ) your intake charge temp. is greatly reduced allowing power level to be maintained. As charge heats up power is lost.
We call it a power keeper. Especially as the dog days of summer come upon us.

I guarantee that even out of boost, in the heat of summer, you loose power due to summer heated air. With our bigger more effecient HE the drop intercooler fluid temp. and air charge temps. will have the truck running like it was spring time.
We all have experienced how sluggish our SC'ed Harley D./Lightning's are when summer is upon us.
