    hey josh i noticed you were talking about combining both meguairs and zaino and i happened to come across this thread.
    i used to own a Trans Am so i still check out the site every once in a while. anyways i thought it was interesting on the steps he took.

    shiny shiny trans am!

    the only real gap in the zaino line of products is compounds to remove swirls and scratches. yeah the Z-5 hides fine swirls, but just to a certain extent. Which is why even if i decide i'm not a big fan of the #21 meguiars synthetic sealant, i can still use the #82 swirl free polish to remove all the swirls on the truck. and as long as the meguiars compound is body shop safe, which many of them are (says on the back label), it doesnt leave any residue on the paint so the zaino will stick to it since the meguiars products can be used to just compound out the fine swirls and then leave a perfect surface for applying zaino, or whatever brand polish to.

    That guy seems to have it figured out pretty well, as you can see from his bling bling pics

    cant wait to get the ball rolling on my comparsion tests
