I guess the salesman told me wrong, but it was a sweet looking truck, I'll put it on the list for next new car for sure
With 1200 miles on my 08 F250 HD i'm getting 13 mpg in the city, haven't had a chance to take it on a long drive yet. Maybe I'll try to get leave in late Feb and load up the bike trailer and hit bikeweek in Daytona.
You have a diesel or gas engine? I see the thread was asking for "Gas Mileage" so I did not post my Diesel MPG.

Yeah, your right. This is my first diesel and I wasn't even thinking about the question.
Thats a technicality. I didn't start the thread, but did a search and found this and replied/resurrected this thread. i was trying to find out the "fuel" mileage of the diesels. I have mine now and I must've got near 20 on a drive back up from Austin this weekend. Average about 16 to the tank with a good mix of hwy and city driving.

My F-350 HD 6.4 diesel gets.....
city 13.5 MPG
hwy 21 MPG WOW!!! That was a shocker.
I had a guy at lunch ask me the other day "what kind of mileage you get in that truck?" He had a new 6.4L He said was only getting 15ish on the highway. I told him something is out of whack.
