    Thumbs up Bilstein Insulator Nuts

Hey I just called Ford here in Tampa. They can get me the Insulator Assembly (as he put it) for $5.63 a piece (reg is $8 and change) and have them for me or us tomorrow. He has to place his order by 3:30 pm today. If you guys want them, just respond to this thread and I will have them shipped in and give them to you guys on Sat at the mod party.

just finished my fronts, they were cake - 15-20 min a side including wheel removal.

top insulator nut is 21mm and you need a 21mm wrench to hold the shock shaft from turning.
you can get to the top nut with a crescent no prob and 13/16 is close enough to hold the shaft. Biggest metric wrenches I had were 19mm
bottom nuts on the front are 13mm.

    Fellas,
In case you missed it, some of the shocks have an ALLEN HEAD cut at the tip of the bolt shaft. easier to access vs. squeezing in a wrench down there

Got my fronts in a few minutes ago. The ride is much improved. Someone had installed Monroe SensaTrac's in it and they were shot. I could compress them by hand and they would stay that way. Still waiting on a call from Ford to tell me to come pick up the rear insulator nuts.
