TCE *BIG* Brake kit is out!!!

    Check this out!

TCE's Plus II package comes with: Wilwood TC 6 calipers, 15”, gas slotted and zinc plated rotors on Billet aluminum hats, new hubs and bearings, pads, hoses, radial mounting brackets and all the necessary hardware to handle the installation.

"As a result of the new TC 6 caliper use we also have a bit more spoke clearance than found on our current kit. The benefit being about .25” more room! This is accomplished by the narrow body design of the TC 6 as well as a slight reduction in pad thickness netting a bit more room. Life of the new pad should not be affected however as the Stage II pad is nearly two times the square inches of the current BSL4 pad! "

    I'm drooling already!
The additional spoke clearance means those of you with custom wheels should find it easier to clear now!

A 15"x1.5" rotor can handle more than anything one of our trucks can dish out.

So what’s the bottom line? Of course the cost of this kit is proving to be much higher than that of the current kit. Caliper cost alone is better than double that of the BSL4. Target price of the Stage II kit is $3079. Options such as colored calipers and drilled rotors carry a premium as well. The added cost of this kit is reflected in the caliper, pads, rotors and the need for custom radial mount brackets- one of the most costly parts to produce in such a kit.
That is a better value than comparable kits from Brembo or SSBC.

as long as the rotor is not drilled it will give very long life. The slotted & dimpled surfaces are a nice little cosmetic & slight performance advantage on the street or spirited off ramp escapades. They really help in wet weather.

nice kit.... $3K is not bad for what you are getting.
