Flat....sue told me that you had been quoted already...maybe not? or someone forgot?

Anyway the standard rate for JLP is $150 for the dyno time and $75 for the first tune....all additional tunes are free, you just pay for dyno time. This is if you did not buy the pred/chip from them. If you did buy it from them then you only need to pay for the dyno time. All tunes are free with the exception of dyno time of course.

Flat if you dont know what you are paying I would call up JLP and ask. If you want.....let them know you talked with me and saw what I posted on the boards and maybe they will cut you some slack. Sue specifically told me that you had been quoted when I asked about you today.

    Sorry bro.

Also Sue was unsure about what you were getting done. She saw somehting about a Pred in the books but wasnt too sure what else. Are you just getting a tune??

Well, I have my own predator, and if they can get my truck tuned up nice with it then that is fine. I just want to hit in the 400 + range so like I said, whatever it takes to get there.... I actually could use a street tune and a track tune but I am open for whatever I just want a solid tune with good af so I dont get a vented block and a sweet dyno slip for the show book.....

they will be able to tune you with a predator from anywhere. i was talking about a predator from JLP bc if you purchase from them then you dont have to pay the custom tune fee. im sure you will be kicking asss wed.

no clue man really. Probably high on the octane but no clue on the timing. RWTD ( would never recommend to anyone) tried to send me a predator tune for my truck er um 3 times ( after I hounded em for m0nths) and couldnt get it right ( was detonating) . but the gas here sucks so who knows how it will react with good gas. I have been in ENgland for 4 years so I dont even know what you can get at the pumps now. I guess Ill let johnny work his magic and we will see.

Thanks for keeping me in the loop. I'm definitely in for a spin on the dyno.........no programmer, no tunes. Just a stock 6.0 Powerstroke. I'm looking to get some baseline #'s before I throw a programmer and an exhaust on. Any idea what they'd charge? Is there anything to be gained by making more than 1 pull on a stock truck?

Snake....as with Josh you will be charged only $50 for a baseline pull. Sue wasnt sue if Johnnys equip would be able to tune your beast anyway so this is a good thing. Nope.....I dont know of anything to be gained bc you will not be changing anything in the trucks computer. The only thing would be maybe the effects heat has on hp output.

im sure someone else knows more about that than me.

    ok so revised list:

    snake, harley#356........1 pull each @$50

    TATTOOSTUFF, ACWALSH8.....dynotune

hahaha I can almost see Sue and Johnny looking at my truck and wondering "WTF are we supposed to do with this thing?" Not exactly an L or a HD F-150. I'd really like to see how much parasitic loss there is through the drivetrain and more importantly, compare the baseline #'s to mod #'s.
