    Prochager install

Well I have installed my fist supercharger and boy was it time consuming. First impression was this wont be to bad. Reality is it could have been worse not a true bolt on kit some small mods were needed to get the kit in just right but man what a difference. As soon as I can pics will follow along with dyno sheet a track times.

Well I went and found a flat straight back road today and did some 0-100-0 runs. uh I need to upgrade brakes now. If my speedo is on I hit a 100 right at a quarter mile. woohooo still need to get the FMU tuned I love how it feels like a turbo as the boost builds in the 2800 rpm range a nd up

How is your guys gas mileage? I dont have the money for it now. My power comes from the juice leftover from the old mustang, but I'm looking into the future and would like some ideas., right now im getting 17-19mpg just curious on the difference.

    00 Harley Hog,

IF you are running the 3 core intercooler and the 3 coce intercooler, GET AN AIR/FUEL READING NOW!!! The reason I say is that my air/fuel with the fuel pressure at 100 psi (Yes, i said 100), my air/fuel was 15:1!!!! If i hadn't checked the air/fuel as soon as i did, i would have been investing in a new motor. I was the 1st customer to have this particular set-up on a 5.4 because i bought mine when the 3 core intercooler came out. My best friend bought one for his 4.6 and his was lean too, but not as bad as mine. He too went with the 3 core intercooler. Just be careful.

    BrooksCG,
the first tank or 2 i ran through mine got the same gas millage. I didn't get it above 4k rpms for those tanks. Basically, the ati (centrifugal superchargers) will not resulf in less mpg if you don't keep your foot in it anywhere due to the fact that nothing changes till you hit close to 3k rpms.

I opted for the 2 core since I live in Alaska and what is considered a hot day here is 78*. By the way my air fuel before any tuning was a little over 13:1 at idle and droped to 9.8:1 at 4800 RPM I have since been to the dyno and Im still around 13:1 at idle but now it hovers between 11.6:1 and 11.3:1 at WOT. I still need to get the real hp/tq numbers the comp didnt record out put damn!!!! Thanks for the info. By the way my gas milage sucked but I can't keep my foot out of it.
