I just can't get over it, was that wet sanded prior too or just the straight real deal,,,,,,,,
just the stuff man just the stuff.......
ah yes, that good ol' zaino shine
just ordered over 100 bucks worth of zaino chit yesterday. i gotta get my baby lookin back to its good ol' self for the dyno day! and get this meguiars stuff off (if it hasnt already melted off by then )
what all did you use on that so far?
Josh, I would have to say that even rivals your Z work......
sure does,
heck it even gives my S100 Carnuba with Zaino over top of it a run for its money.
i dunno...it looks nice, but the color of that house aint poppin out at me
he's got some stiff zaino competition if you wanna get nitty gritty picky! LoL!
the harley's passenger door is great for reflection shots

and dont you love the triple reflection going on here? reflection of my 85 in the door of the harley. but look closer at the door of the 85 in the reflection...there's a reflection of the harley in the 85

Shoot that's hard to tell I thinkin AC's a little sharper , maybe it's just the angle???? Maybe they need to pressure wash there house...
ok ok i have to chime in here. Josh, ive only used your basic stuff so far. it had 3 coats on it when that pic was taken (2 polish, 1 wax)......
oh and each was a meguiars product...the stuff you are hoping doesnt melt off. i mean seriously i thought you were just a die hard zaino supporter who couldnt see anything else as being up to snuff but shiit we cant even get a clap even if you think we use zaino.......i dont know.....i think it looks good and to quote the god himself, "use what works best for you", so i do. and it the color doesnt pop? come on. if i parked my truck in my driveway for 30 days of the month then id have a nice finish also using crisco. im sorry if this is harsh but you always have to knock someone elses work.

Not poping? AC's job Looks pretty damn good to me. Good on ya bro!
Like he said use what works for you.
Here is a pic I had not even put Zaino on, this shot is stripped it with s100 cleaner and one coat of s100 carnuba. All hand applied, dont own a polisher.
No amount of zaino or anything will help the pants though

whoa calm down man. taking stuff way too seriously there. i never once knocked anybody else's finish. i even said the shine was looking great. whether its zaino or meguiars, it looks great just as i said.
notice the LAUGHING smiley that you and the other NJ Chris hate so much...that i placed right after i said about the color of the house popping. take a little JOKE man. catch the blatant sarcasim there
and yes, use whats best for you is exactly right. zaino works best for me. meguiars doesnt. my comment about it melting is actually the problem i think i'm having. (http://www.nhtoc.com/vbforum/showthr...light=meguiars) i've had issues with it being all smeary every time i take my cover off after a few days. i've done two coats, and i know i applied it the right way, the only thing i can think of why it comes out smeary after the cover is on for a few days is it doesnt cure to the paint as hard as zaino does, and hence it "melts" off on the cover and leaves smeary marks when pulling it off
you can read my past results on my test with meguiars. it does get great results
just one pic for example of my truck with 2 coats of meguiars
http://www.nhtoc.com/vbforum/attachm...&postid=221763
and a thread on my 2nd coat of megs

i wouldn't have expected a type of post like this from you Chrisi mean seriously i thought you were just a die hard zaino supporter who couldnt see anything else as being up to snuff but shiit we cant even get a clap even if you think we use zaino.......i dont know
that statement couldnt be more un-true. next time dont be so quick to try to find a way to make it look like i'm bashing on meguiars. i've used both products along with many others. i'm totally open minded in the detailing world of products, and will give honest non-bias opinions. i was actually looking forward to a switch from zaino to meguiars since i get bored of the same old same old, but after testing it out, Z works out better for me so i'm sticking to it.
and as i said in the first place your truck looks great no matter whats on it
i bet anybody here 100 bucks i could strip all the zaino off my truck and with the right lighting and angles, get pics that blow away even the most hardcore detailing enthusiast pics out of the water, with bare paint and no polish. its nearly impossible to tell a product apart from another, or none at all in photo's. too many tricks to disguise things
oh man where are my pics when I need em. Looks good bro!!!!!! wish I could post up a couple of mine as well!!!!
