    Replica 22's

Trying to do all the research now, but I will definitely be in the market for the replica 22's for my truck when I get back stateside from Iraq around the December timeframe. If anybody knows or recommends anybody to buy these from I am all ears.

Not to be negative on this topic, but I was also looking at 22's several months ago. I found that the brand I was looking at did not have the chrome finish on the inside of the wheel. I have grown accustomed to having that additional rotating bling, so I stayed with the stockers. Now if I could find some that were chromed all over, that would be a different story.

Too bad the 22" wheels on the 06 model are polished aluminum!

I'd go for some 22's. Is there a compromise on the weight tho?
It would be nice to see a weight comparison of stock rim/tire setup vs aftermarket setup. Tire rack sometimes lists the weight of ther rims.

Yes. wheel replicas was the site. I'm sure they have specs with and w/o tires mounted. They are having a "sale" . IMO the
non chromed insides are OK. It would be nice to have th OEM caps fit the 22's.

i always wash the insides of my stock 20's when i clean the truck, the added bling is nice, so if i got 22's i'd definately want the insides chrome as well since they'd be alot easier to clean and see.

and the OEM caps CAN fit the 22" reps. alot of guys have swapped them over, i believe they need some slight modding to fit, but it can be done.

anybody know if the back sides of the verde's are chrome? looking at blueflamedude's pics and harleyhartis's pics it looks like they are, but hard to tell from the angles

JKS'harley has Detroit Wheel 22" reps but cant tell if the insides of those are chrome. he had Dante reps before and they were alot boxier looking than stock, which is why he sold them for the Detroit 22's

I'll call HarleyHartis tomorrow or maybe take a swing by his house to check it out.

    EDIT:
    He thinks so.
