    New pics

I wasn't too sure if I should put this in the Detailing section, but here's what I ended up doing:

    Dawn wash
    Dry
    Claybar
    Zaino Z7 wash
    Dry
    Zaino Z5 wax
    Zaino Z6 detail spray
    Zaino Z5 wax
    Zaino Z6 detail spray

I also changed the oil (3.5 gal !!) and rotated the tires (10k miles). While the tires were off, I also cleaned the back of the wheels. I feel like I own a friggin Freightliner........so much truck to clean!

I'll post some "shine/reflection" pics and my thoughts on Zaino in the Detailing section as well.

paid members can set up a gallery

From there you can generate forum links to your pics and post as many as you want in one post.

That lift looks freakin SWEET! I think I'm in luuuuuuuuuuuuv

    How's the ride?

I'm surprised you went to 18" rims instead of going with another set of 20's or 22's. Don't get me wrong--I really like the way it looks! Why'd you go with a smaller wheel?

Keep me posted on gas mileage--I'm wondering how bad its going to be. It'll help me decide to go 4", 6", or 8".

Looks like a 8' garage door is going to be a mod on the house soon.

You add a chip or programmer?

Did I mention that I really, really like the way your truck looks? lol

Pic was taken 10 min from my house. Public road "paved" with crushed seashells.

I'm hoping to get some other pics later this fall actually on the beach with the ocean in the background. There's a bunch of places with beach access. I bet some 2" x 12" x 16' would enable the 2 wheel drive trucks to make it onto the beach without getting stuck (?)

If all else fails, I have a good friend who's the captain of the beach patrol near my house. He's already told me that he'd block off the beach so I could pull the truck out and get some pics. Maybe if I do it over the summer, I can find some bikini's to add some character to my pics.

Snake, what's wrong with you? Hours of cleaning and then drive it to the beach???? Mine sits after cleaning. It takes too long.

    Good ride lots of looks

    Snake,
The truck runs great, a little stiffer but not much, the speedo is not off by much 2-5 miles maybe, 4wheel parts said the truspeed for 05 is not out yet, should be out soon they said. if you change rims, make sure they are at least 9.5 wide, smaller makes tires look thin and wimpy, orig rims may not be able to handle it.
I set orig tires side by side they are only 1 in bigger than 37's so the idea was to go with an 18in rim, in case I go with bigger tires maybe 40's next time, I don't like too much rim, more rubber absorbs shock better on desert trail or sand, I'm getting 12.5 mpg so far, power is the same, trax bars help, a few friend regret getting 4-6 in lifts, unless you have to use it for work or very heavy loads, it's like LB or SB a hassle to park, but the look is alot nicer. As for the garage this baby has to sleeps on the driveway got wife's car, Belair, Harley, quad and pool table in 3 car garage.
    I'll post more pic's later..
