hoff....dont wanna hijack this thread.....so hit me up on AIM sometime. however to your question, "do you still remember me?" my answer is shiit I barely have time to say hi to myself. I work 50 60 hrs a week, lift and then try to keep the house together. im sure you are all are gonna say blah blah blah to that......but **** im 22 and its rough for me.
hit up instant messenger. im usually on checking mail and PMs after 830 each night till around 10 1030.
how awesome is it though to have a kick asss tune. I was draggin asss with the winter tune i had and i only saw say 12 13#s for a brief second. now after my retune its amazing. im all smiles these days.

back on topic......
ilaybrk.....why not just add a 5 or 6# lower pulley??? it would be much easier, less chance of messing up the snout and also would prob help in not adding to belt slip.
I was going to put alumnim L top pully and a 8.45 lower pully and youse 100mm idlers. you think it would be better to run 9.75 on the botom and call it a day.and again total of 12lb is ok on hd and i have sct9100 tuner will just have it re tuned.
marioec what does your hd do in the 1/4
I have a L upper and a 6# lower with a tune from James at RWTD and I havent had any problems with it on my 02!
Go with a 6 or 8# lower, FTVB and an SCT dyno tune. The fun factor is off the hook and the reliabilty couldn't be better.Originally posted by ilaybrk

JLP shortblock, Stage 3 heads and cams, 2.3 Whipple w/3" upper and 4# lower.Ba2800, Accufab, Pacesetter LT's, 60#inj, twin 255's, LFP efan, PI 2600 stall, Detroit Locker Tru-Trac, 58" LFP Tbars, Bilsteins all around, D.M.R. panhard, MT DR's. 564/598 on 15# boost
9.75 is kinda risky with out a lot of supporting mods and a kick arse tune. i would stick closer to a 9" if you are just starting out and all you want to do is add a pulley and tune.
just my 02. maybe someone will back that up.
i don't know ....i will take the truck to the track next monthOriginally posted by ilaybrk
