I am going to pass on meeting Larry's friends.
come on now mike....dont wuss out lol
Can we get a head count on who's gonna be there? Are we doing a bbq/cookout thing for lunch? If so, I'd like to bring some stuff up.
I've been trying to keep the first post up to date with a head count, looks like 11 members so far
Dunno who's flyin solo and who's bringing a co-pilot though
I figure we'll prolly have tommy & haus fire up the grill again
Sounds good to me. Thanks.Originally posted by Venom

I'm gonna see if I can make it. I need new brake pads. Any recommendations? Could probably use the fuel filter done. Does anyone know how to get the front grill off. I want to install the train horn under the headlights on the drivers side. I guess I would need to get the lights out so I can make the correct bend in the bracket and drill the right holes. Anyone jave experience in this?

Glad to see you think you're gonna make it!
Kevin (HrDScrew) will be there, he did my horns with the tank & comp behind the pax light, horns behind the drivers light without pulling my grill or anything.
Pulling the headlights is super easy, no tools required.
For pads, you can't go wrong with Hawk HPS's - BigBill is a vendor for them now and his service is impeccable, plus he's uin Miami so shipping is fast.
Front pads are so easy, it will take you longer to take the wheels off than actually changing the pads!
If you want a set of pads from Big Bill give him a call. He lives in Miami and I can make a trip to pick them up and bring them to the gtg on Saturday if he has them in stock. Also it's good to see that Kevin will be there. I haven't heard from him since the last gtg at his place. I hope he didn't get kicked out of his place of business after Venom left his mark all over the street.Originally posted by Venom

glad to see your still out there Michael. I hope you can make it so Kevin will have something to do. he's a slacker you know....
I'd love to get the horns on my truck but my wife won't let me Now if there was a way to still keep the stock horn but be able to switch on the freight horns at will, that would be nice.Originally posted by cfradam

That wouldn't be too hard Sean, just run a seperate button for the air horns. Might have to fiddle with the mounting a little just to find room for the stockers, but I think it could be done reasonably easy.
What marks on Kevin's street?
I have no idea what you're talking about???
I reject your reality and substitute my own.
I was going to put two switches in. One to turn on the compressor and one to tie in a relay to the regular horn signal. That way I can keep the regular horns and have the train horn come on when I want. Hmmm That reminds me, I'll need to get some relays. I wonder if Kevin has some? I'll know by late Wed. if I can make it to the GTG.
dunno about the setup you have, but mine came with a pressure switch on the compressor. Tank falls below a certain pressure, it kicks in and repressurizes, kicks off at a certain PSI.
Mine has the limit switch on it also. I was just thinking of having an on/off switch so I won't always be running the compressor. Why, I don't know. Just wanted that option available.
