From reading past posts, you will benefit from extenders if you have a drop of 2" or more. If you still have the stock shocks, might as weel do a rear anti-sway bar, extenders & Bilsteins together.

Hotchkis's new Bilstien-TVS specifc shocks should not need the extenders. They are engineered for the TVS.
Depending on which QA-1's you get you will possibly need extenders. I believe the part #'s Posted above are the rears that DO NOT require the extenders. They are a Mustang Part# in the application guide. But measure the truck on a flat, level surface. at rest. Give the measurement ot QA-1 they will tell you which shock you need.
2" shackles, no extenders needed. Bilstiens & a rear sway bar will make a HUGE difference in the truck...
Get the Lightning Spec Bilsteins... done deal.
Rear sway bar: Helwig is NOT as difficult as some seem to make it out to be. If you have access, have the thing powder coated before install as the finish is pretty lame. Also you have the Lightning or Expedition rear sway bar, but they may require exhaust modifications.

Thanks Krom & Rich
Thanks Krom & Rich for your responses!!
If I want to add the Blistien Shocks, do I just order the
Stock Lightning Shock PN #'s?
1L3Z-18124-AC
1L3Z-18125-AA
Any thing else I would need?
As of now, just the 2" Belltech
shackels (that's all the lowering I'll do).
Thanks again,
Paul

Billy is no longer working at SoCal. I had to go through another parts guy. I hope that I get the right extenders. I guess we will see when they get here.

Billy has been there for quite some time. How about somebody let Billy know that the passenger side extender needs to be a little bit wider.

When I drove to their store to buy mine, I informed GIL of this problem ( because I used the SEARCH button and found this thread by Rob W). He replied "We'll look into it." At least he knew that the driver vs passenger side were different.

Good grief, all he has to do to see the problem is try installing one.

I mean its only a matter of a 5lb hammer coaxing the extender into place... but it mars the powder coating.

I don't know if the harley shock mount is slightly different, but I ended up with two of the extenders on the left (the "std F150" ones), and they both fit on the truck without a problem?
My std F150 ones came with four washers for the shock bolt (where that short one has two of the washers welded on).
I own a lightning.

Dan,
You are right, Ls use the same shape/size extenders for driver/passenger side. I learned about this when I posted @ NLOC: http://www.nloc.net/forum/showthread...ight=extenders
