    Shock Extender Buyers READ THIS!!!

Ok after 3 weeks, 4 tries I finally ahve the correct extenders...

on a regular F150 both rear shock mounts are on the BACK of the axle housing. the extender on the LEFT in the picture would be correct for BOTH sides on a plain F150

OK for the L or HD the following is what you need:

    You need 2 different extenders.
Pic one: the extender on the LEFT is the DRIVER'S Extender
This is a side shot to show the difference.

Ok if you have 2 of the same extenders thay wont work.

If you have 2 of the extender on the LEFT they sent you a set for a std. F150.

If you have 2 of the one on the right (which I had 3 times!) you have jack-squat...

Hope this keeps everyone on their toes...

Be sure to tell So-Cal that you have a HD & it requires 2 DIFFERENT extenders. One long one short w/extra washers welded on.

    Josh, $30 + freight.

They are easy enough my wife could slam them home in 20 minutes...

Unbolt the lower shock mount... tap the extender into place, they are a firm fit. The install the hardware. Reinstall the shock lower bolt in on the extender...

they can can only go on one way & on one side.

When I had 2 of the passenger side, I made the 2nd pass side work on the drivers side to get me by with some spacers in under a 1/2 hour start to finish.

    CALL BILLY & ONLY BILLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, I cannot stress enough that you call or talk to Billy directyl & brow beat him to understanding you need 2 unique extenders. I will try to find out if they actually assigned a part # tomorrow.

Alrighty then, that explains why my passenger side shock is soo far forward that it rubs the E brake cable. I have 2 driver's side extenders. Thanks for this info, I will be ordering a new pass side tomorrow! I even specified for a Harley Davidson F150 Screw. Dang it!
