    03 HD Shock/lowering ?

I had a Ground force lowering kit installed and it dropped about 1.5" in the front and 3" or so in the rear. I want to chnage shocks but can't figure out the right ones to use with the lowering kit.

I also seem to have a slight vibration in the truck when cruising. I have heard it might be driveline angle. Anyone have ideas on that?

Last question I heard the factory bumpstops should be removed is this correct? I didn't install the kit so I don;t know if the ground force kit came with new bumpstops, I just read about it on the forum.

    Thanks for the info!

do not just remove your stops!!!
cut them, swap them to energy suspension urathane shorties, whatever, but don't go without!
here's a how-to on the rear urathane shorties.

For driveline vibration, try turning the wedge shim around between the leaf spring and the axle.

as far as shocks, I would suggest L-spec bilsteins, might want to add so-cal shock extenders.

Thanks for the info Venom. I emailed kevin at All Shocks and he said the bilstiens will not work on a lowered truck. Is that correct or is he mistaken? Or will the shock extenders solve that problem and the front is not enough to worry about?

lowered 2.5" up front, 4.5" in the rear. have had lightning bilsteins for almost 3 years now. zero problems, handles awesome!!!

so-cal shock extenders in the rear is all that's needed for anything over a 2" rear drop

I'm dropped all the way around with L-spec bilsteins, zero probs
I'd definitely say he was wrong, a LOT of guys here are running them with various drops.
