Something like that happened to a friend and me once. We were in his 79 F150, 4x4 and got stuck in the mud. A guy in a Toyota 4x4 truck came by and tried to pull us out. At first he went slow, got the strap tight, then started pulling. He kinda looked like a fish at the end of a line going side to side but not moving us an inch. He then let some slack in the strap to get a run at it and ripped his back bumper off of his truck. Pretty funny at the time. A guy in a F250 finally got us out.
