    Line-Lock Brake line

Who wants the hard brake line that Sal provides in his Hurst LL kit? I am talking about the line that Sal fabs up to fit between the MC and the LL. I chose to replace this line with a custom made braided stainless line. Just let me know if you actually have a need for it, PM me your addy, and I will send it to you.

I have seen the LL kits every where....can we get a GB on this? Mark, bigbill, anyone? count me in for two, especially if they bolt right in on my two ford rides...

    did some research...

the SLP kit part # M25000 for Mustang and Ford modular engines is 125 and change at a non-SV

the custom bolt in line would make things SO much easier.
I did mine myself and made my own line, cutting and flaring fittings and stuff

I had purchased a 8" line from napa and hassled with bending it around, it works and looks fine. But if you can buy one pre-made I would....

I used Sal's kit but just replaced the funky/difficult hard line from the MC to the line-lock. Sal's kit is a huge improvement to having to cut/flare lines and buy all sorts of metric to SAE fittings/adapters. But Sal's kit also leaves quite a bit to be desired.

Best case scenario is to just buy the standard Hurst LL, buy one fitting to adapt the OE MC line (metric) to the LL (SAE), use similar aluminum mount as in PSP kit, and install the braided stainless line from the LL (SAE fitting) back up to the MC (metric fitting) without all the brass adapter junk ... nice, clean, easy, simple. I also installed a real small red LED instead of the big round FUGLY light that comes in the Hurst kit. Biggest issue is that braided stainless is expensive! I'm sure that's why Sal made his kit up from lots of brass adapters and fabbed-up the cheapie hard replacement line. Will take some pics tomorrow.
