I have a paint blemish on my driver's door, right on the flame. Its about an inch long and looks like dust got under the clear coat (or maybe its a fingerprint or overspray ). I noticed it pretty quick, but have decided not to take my truck back to the dealer. Part of me doesn't want my truck floating around in someone else's hands, and the other part of me is afraid it'll get messed up worse.

I know the feeling, I have a "fisheye" on my dreiver's side rear door, but didn't want them to break the clear and try to repaint it. But my front bumper had some major blemishes including one of those finger prints to speak of, a very clear finger print. For that they repainted the entire bumper and it was flawless. But now it's got rock chips all over the place.

When mine got hit, they said they had a tough time making the paint look that rough. The overall finish is not that great or smooth.

The funny thing is, I think the paintjobs on our F550 XLT work trucks are better than the one on my harley. I have a few complaints about my HD but I wouldn't give it up for nothing in the world, not even an '06

I wouldn't think they'd give you a problem about it. When my fender emblems were rusting The service manager asked "are you sure it's rust? Ok, I'll order the new ones tomorrow."

Kevin, mine is the same way. I'll show you next time I see you. The grill is not into the hood yet, but I don't have the stock hood.

this is about 3 months ago and it is worse now. if you look to the middle left before the bevel, you see a slight bump. It looks worse now and in person. look at the gap that separtates the hood and the grill.

Mine did the same thing. I tried loosening up the screws and pushing it down and then tightening the screws back down. It seemed to work or it made it not as noticeable. Might want to give t a try.
