Another feather in your cap with this one GG. Where do you get the time that is required to put all this together. Looks & sounds like a great piece of work. Well done & I'm interested in how the testing goes. You are an asset to this club...........

Very nice work Garrett! I just got on to this thread or I would have offered up Kudos before! I would be interested in this for the ol' HD after you complete your testing. Any issues you think with my Mag Hy-Tech differential cover? Please let me know!
    Outstanding!

Do you have a gasket for it, The reason I ask it appears to have a skinner lip/flange running around the edge. If not a measurement from the center of a bolt hole to the side of the casing where it bulges out towards the rear of the truck.

Here is a closeup pic of the bolt clearance to the rise in the differential cover. The truth of it is, is that edge of the mounting flange is radiused where it transitions to the rise in the cover.
The radiused transition is actually machined out to accommodate the bolt washer. Looks like about 3/8" clearance between the center of the bolt to the edge of the differential housing. It seems that I would have to place S/S spacers between the back of your bracket & the cover mounting flange to get adequate clearance. What do you think?

That would work, the shorter the better, remember the bolts are only 5/16. Give me some measurements....

How fast does it taper in? As it stand's now the diff. bracket is 9/16 from the center of the hole to the inside edge where it would ,,,come into contact.

Paul, if you make me a template that follows the contour of the cover to where it dip's in at the bolts/washer we can get there. I just need the top half.
