I LOVE that video. I bet I've watched it 20 times and still laugh like a little kid. Course, you roll through Jersey like that and you're liable to get shot. I'll be there soon

Be sure to visit their website, under video's, for more fun.
which system did you guys get? Im wanting the conductors special but my budget is more like the $300 kit...any one know how much louder the conductors special is than the smaller kit? I dont care about the 3sec blast vs 5sec blast just so that its the same volume...also if the cheaper one isnt as loud id rather save coin to get the bigger one...then theres always that 3k one thats off a real train muhahaha
I didn't buy through hornblasters. Found my air chimes (Nathan K3LA) on ebay and I'm buying the compressor and tank from VTKustoms.
To give you an idea of the 3 sec vs. 5 sec thing: a friend of mine had an engineer (not a train engineer ) do some math and figured out that a 10 gal tank at 150 psi will give you a 5 sec blast at 100 psi before the compressor kicks on. The compressor was set to turn on at 110 psi and she's using 1/2" line.
Volume of the horns is obviously dependant on air pressure and air flow. Best info I can gather tells me that the Nathans are set up to run at 90 psi, but can handle 100 psi without a problem. Too much pressure will cause the diaphrams in the bells to fail........just like too much boost on the truck.

There is 7 gallon 150psi air tanks for sale at Walmart for $12 or so...could get 2 and have 14 gals for cheap.
I only need the horns, as they will be plumbed into my setup for the air bags..
The shop thats doing my truck, is installing the big kit on their SRT-10 Quad cab right after the holiday, ill report back after i hear it.
