Professional Banner for "How To" section

OK, I got comments about the first 2 banners as being happy (i.e. gay). So I made a professional looking one..

I wish there was a way to "watermark" our how-to's. I have seen our how-to's and even our parts list posted on other sites in thier entirety, instead of just a link. Give credit where credit is due.

Edit ooops, the banner looks great Del.

if most of the really nicely done up how-to's (pics, text, captions, etc.) are converted into downloadable .pdf's they can be watermarked. be nice to eventually get the how-to section into an actual page of the site eventually, instead of just a list of threads. been meaning to work on this for a while but just been so friggin busy!

I actually used to write stuff for one of the paintball clubs I was in. It's hard to do unless you actually take the pictures or have someone take them and explain what they are all about.

I'm all for converting the how to threads to wepages. I just finished one on my website about adjusting the TPS. I had to search around to find the best photos and procedure.

Not sure if I have still have PDF writer. I'll dig around in my software stash and see if I can find it.

I've been contemplating taking the How To's that people have done and putting them in a PDF document for easier printing. Not sure if we can host those here, though. If I find some time, I'll put one together and see.

You can go to the Acrobat site and convert files over the Internet for free. Not sure how many times it will allow you to do it.

Del, the logo looks pretty, but the HD logo in the background must go (for legal reasons). Also please add the URL for the website to the bottom of the logo (www.NHTOC.com).

    Looks Great Del!

You can open the "How-To" in MS Word and then save as a PDF. MS Word allows you to attach watermarks to each page.

If you have articles that you want watermarked and can't do it yourself, send it to Nan along with the watermark logo, and we can sent the watermarked PDFs back to you.

dont mean to be picky, but maybe put an actualy HD rim (instead of the ford racing triple spoke hd-ish rim) and an actual eaton/kb/whipple blower for the 5.4 snout is sticking out of the wrong side of the nose

sorry for bein so picky! lol looks good though

I had the original Harley rim in the first pic. But them I thought about it and the banner says "MODS'. This would tend to indicate non-OEM stuff. It's easily changed but that was the reason I replaced the rim with a different rim. I flipped the S/C to make it a better visual. I'll make another when I get a chance.

    P.S. At least I didn't use a Z-28 rim or similar.. LOL
