    Smile Update on CLOC GTG--DYNO!

    UPDATE ON DYNO!

    The dyno will be held at Dynamic Auto Works. The shop will open up at 9:00 am and it will take Dyno Dan 30-45 minutes to set up. The dyno will cost $50.00 for three pulls including a print out of the best run. There will also a contest divided into three classes for the highest horse power in each class. The classes will be Lightning, Harley and Cobra/Mustang. The winner of each class will win $50.00 cash and will receive the dyno runs free!!! This contest is also sponsored by Dynamic Auto Works. A 2005 GT(40) will be on display as well.

    I will not be there as I will be making sure that Hooters is all set up and that all the parking spaces are blocked off for everyone.
    Also, it would be appreciated if someone can post up directions to Dynamics for the people that want to go dyno before they come to Hooters.

    Take Independence Blvd (Hwy 74) going west into Charlotte; Veer left on 74 west (I-277);
    Take the South Blvd exit;
    At the first stoplight, take a right on Bland Street;
    Cross over South Tryon;
    About an 1/8th of a mile, take a right on Church Street;
    Take the second left--Quincey Street; you will see the dyno!

    The physical location for those doing MapQuest is 315-B Quincey Street, Charlotte NC 28203

    It's looking like I will make it as well. I will just have the children with me, but they have seen Daddy's truck on a dyno before and will probably see it again.

    I also need some help with a spark plug problem. I replaced my stock plugs last weekend (well 7 of them) with some Densos, but the last plug on the driver side would not come out. I can get the socket down in the hole just fine, but it is acting like the socket will not slip down onto the hex area of the plug. I took a flash light and looked down the hole, but can only see 50% of the area around the base of the plug which looked all clear. I also tried using a magnet to see if it picked up anything, but nothing. So if some of you guys have any ideas, bring those ideas to the GTG.

    Justin,
    Dave should be able to get that out for you with no problem.

    Ouch, sorry to hear about the NLOC problems, but regardless of the forum politics you should consider coming out if it makes sense to you from a fun and games standpoint. If not, I understand. I'm just looking forward to getting my truck on a dyno and then eatin and drinkin!

    Well have fun guys i wont be there. Just got word that BTS still hasn't shipped my tranny. The tranny is built but the torque converter is MIA. Terry Allan is in the same boat, so it doesn't look like that monster will see the Dyno either.

    My car went down too so now we are down to one car and i'm not too happy.

    Have fun and take some pics and Video.
